where i live, airplanes launch and fly every day. the sky is died dark blue-grey, like the ocean during a storm. fluffs of clouds that look painted and thin lie above. at night, i see stars through binoculars.
i love shady forests with moss all over the rocks, and rainy days that make the ground slippery. i like to walk barefoot in mud, feeling everything squish between my toes.
i keep a bag of colorful baloons in my drawers, and someday i hope to put helium in all of them, and fly away. but until then, i'm just free in my imagination.
